It's common to treat social media as an isolated obligation: post regularly, keep the feed "alive," track likes. That keeps the brand present, but rarely turns into a sale on its own — because the link between the content and the next step of the buying journey is missing.
Every post should have a destination
The question that's usually missing before hitting publish is: "after seeing this, what do I want the person to do?" Without that answer, content becomes just entertainment — good for engagement, neutral for the bottom line. With that answer, every post becomes a piece of a larger funnel:
- Top: educational content that solves a real question for the audience — builds recognition and trust.
- Middle: social proof, behind-the-scenes, comparisons — that moves people who already know the brand closer to considering a purchase.
- Bottom: a direct call — an offer, a deal, or an invitation to talk to the team (via WhatsApp, form, or DM).
Integrating social media with automated support
When someone comments or sends a DM from a post, that's one of the moments of highest intent — and also one of the easiest to leave unanswered in the middle of the daily routine. Automating the first response from social (routing it to WhatsApp, for example) keeps that organically generated interest from being lost due to a lack of follow-up.
Social presence sustains the customer journey — but it only turns into results when it's connected to the rest of the funnel, not isolated from it.
